Prep boys soccer: Ballard 3, Kamiak 1

MUKILTEO — Ballard overcame an early deficit to notch the season-opening win over Kamiak (0-1 overall) in the nonconference matchup. Ballard’s Brent Campbell led the rally with two goals — coming in the 34th and 48th minutes — including one a penalty kick which tied the score at 1-1. Sofien El-Mehrik scored the third and final goal for Ballard (1-0) in the 74th minute.

The Knights lone goal came in the 29th minute from Tyler Uddin.
