BOTHELL — Lynnwood took a 10-point lead after the first quarter and then outscored Shorewood 24-4 in the second quarter to survive a loser-out game of the Class 3A District 1 tournament and set up a chance at reaching the state regional. The Royals will play Ferndale at 6 p.m. Friday at Lynnwood in a winner-to-state, loser-out game. Linda Wilson led a balanced Royals attack with 15 points and 15 rebounds. Linda Wilson had 15 rebounds, Meghan Cross had 15 points and eight rebounds, Arsenia Ivanov scored 14 and Mokun Fajemisin added 11 points for Lynnwood, which beat Shorewood for the third time this season. Masha Shtikel led Shorewood with 16 points.
