Learning the trades

High school teams will compete in an Association of Equipment Manufacturers Construction Challenge on Saturday in Everett.

The International competition happens only once every three years.

There are more than 35 teams competing from the Pacific Northwest, California and Montana.

Caterpillar is sponsoring the challenge. Students will meet potential employers and learn new skills.

Top teams advance to an exposition in Nevada.
