Prep girls basketball: Jackson 51, Snohomish 49 (OT)

MILL CREEK — In a back-and-forth battle that saw each team take leads throughout the game, Jackson prevailed 51-49 in overtime over Snohomish in a Wesco 4A girls basketball matchup Tuesday at the Jackson gym.
Kelli Kingma hit the decisive 3-point goal and Jackson’s defense held Snohomish to only one point in the extra period.
Kristin Stoffel led a balanced Jackson offense with 16 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks. Kingma added 15 points.
