LAKE STEVENS — A bicyclist died days after a collision with a SUV in Lake Stevens.
Wesley Alan Davidson, of Marysville, was riding a bike west on Highway 204 on Saturday afternoon when he reportedly cut in front of a westbound Ford Expedition, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The driver, 18, of Redmond, swerved into oncoming traffic just east of U.S. 2 in an effort to avoid hitting the cyclist, troopers said.
But the Ford struck Davidson, and he was rushed to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. He was 38.
