Four dogs await for new homes from Everett Animal Shelter
Leela has had a rough life being shipped around the place and been in several homes. She is now looking for her forever home and she needs to be the only animal. Leela is smart, well trained and very responsive to her handler. She shows leash aggression to other dogs but responds well with vocal corrections. Experienced home is, therefore, a must. Mia is here looking for her new home. She is very sure of herself and likes to do things on her own terms. She will need an adult home where she will be treated like a princess. Mia will need a meet and greet with and resident dogs and may do OK with cats after proper introductions. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Stella is a young active dog in need of some training. She is very particular about who she likes but once she is comfortable with you she loves to play fetch and cuddle with her people. She does not like quick movements and is in search of an adult only home that is ready to help her become a move confident well-adjusted dog. She will chew up household items if left unattended. Stella has never lived with cats and need a meet and greet with any resident canines. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Thunder is an active young dog! He is looking for a home that is committed to training and helping him become a good canine citizen. He has some anxiety when left alone which causes him to bark and chews household items. Thunders new home must be free of any small critters, cats and small dogs. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
