Three dogs await for new homes from Everett Animal Shelter
Teddy is looking for his special home. He has been an outdoor dog who lived on a 5 fenced acres then moved to a smaller place and a smaller pen. He needs to be the only domestic pet in the home as he is very territorial. He did great on the farm with horses and had a pond that he loved to swim in. Teddy will need a home with herding dog experience and adults only. Teddy is not suited for apartment living. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Craig is a high energy dog looking for an active home! He will need a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs that need to be his size or larger. Craig would make a great hiking or running buddy and it would help to burn off some of his energy! He will need a feline-free home and is not suited for apartment type settings. Star is looking for a home that has experience with guardian breeds. She cannot live with any small animals — that includes cats, chickens, small dogs or any other small critters. She has lived with her brother and done well. Star needs a large yard and is not suited for apartment/condo living. She has lived outside and does not know any commands. Her new family will need to be committed to training and giving this lovely girl what she needs. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
