4A, 3A state volleyball tournaments move to Yakima

The WIAA Executive Board voted during its April 22 meeting to move the Class 4A and 3A state volleyball tournaments to Yakima.

The Yakima Valley SunDome will host this year’s 4A and 3A state tournaments Nov. 16-17, one week after hosting the 1A, 2B and 1B state tournaments.

For the past three seasons, the 4A and 3A state tournaments were held in Kennewick’s Toyota Center.
