PROOF-Washington Distillers Festival: PROOF, the Washington Distillers Festival, the flagship distillers festival in the state, is 5:30 to 9 p.m. July 7 at Fremont Studios, 155 N. 35th St., Seattle. More than 40 Washington distillers will be pouring samples of whiskey, gin and vodka. Advance tickets are $50 and include 10 tasting tokens. VIP tickets are $75 and include two additional tasting tokens and a commemorative glass. More at proofwashington.org.

Route 2 Taproom 3rd anniversary: Monroe’s Route 2 Taproom is hosting a Battle of the Brewers for its third anniversary party on July 7 at the taproom, 19837 U.S. 2, Monroe. There will also be food specials and live music.

Dreadnought Brewing tasting: Crucible Brewing is hosting Monroe’s Dreadnought Brewing for a brewer’s night from 5 to 8 p.m. July 11 at The Forge in Woodinville, 12826 NE 178th St., Suite C, Woodinville.

Ecliptic Brewing tasting: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Portland’s Ecliptic Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. July 11 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Sultan Shindig Festival: Sultan’s Timber Monster Brewing will be pouring a number of its beers the beer garden during the Sultan Shindig Festival in downtown Sultan July 13-14. The annual event celebrates the town’s logging history and includes a carnival, food, crafts and live entertainment.

Everybody’s Brewing tasting: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting White Salmon’s Everybody’s Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. July 18 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Seattle Beers Made By Walking No. 2: Three breweries with connections to Snohomish County will be celebrated in the next iteration of Seattle Beers Made By Walking, which invites brewers to go on walks and brew beers inspired by plants found on the trail. Volunteer naturalist Nelson Salisbury will lead a tour of the South Tiger Traverse Trails at 10 a.m. July 19. The hike is free. There will be another BMBW event in the fall.

Anderson Summer School Brewfest: Bothell’s McMenamins Anderson School is hosting the second annual Anderson Summer School Brewfest July 21 at the brewery, 18607 Bothell Way NE, Bothell. Taste more than 50 beers and ciders from local breweries and cideries, listen to live music and enjoy food. Tickets are $25 and include a pint glass and 12 tokens. Arlington Brewfest: The third annual Arlington Brewfest is from 4 to 9 p.m. July 21 at Legion Memorial Park, 114 N. Olympic Ave., Arlington. There will be beer, wine, cider and food. Advance tickets are $25 and $30 at the door. Money raised by the event will go to Vision for a Cure, a non-profit that supports Usher syndrome.

Firestone Walker tap takeover: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting California’s Firestone Walker Brewing for a tap takeover at 5 p.m. July 25 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Ballast Point tasting: Snohomish’s Josh’s Taps & Caps is hosting San Diego’s Ballast Point Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. July 26 at the taproom, 1800 Bickford Ave., Suite 210, Snohomish.

Double Mountain Brewing tasting: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Hood River’s Double Mountain Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. Aug. 8 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Historical Beer Tasting with Ron Pattinson: Bothell’s Foggy Noggin Brewing is hosting British beer historian Ron Pattinson for a book event and beer tasting from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 10 at the brewery, 22329 53rd Ave. SE, Bothell. Sky Valley Corks & Kegs Block Party: The Monroe Chamber of Commerce and Sky Valley Family YMCA hosts the Sky Valley Corks & Kegs Block Party from 4 to 9 p.m. Aug. 11 next to Harry’s On Tye, 14286 169th Drive SE, Monroe. The block party will include a number of local breweries and wineries, food trucks and live music. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased on Eventbrite.
