Sox drop 3rd straight in 2-1 loss to Tri-City

PASCO, Wash. — Dwanya Williams-Sutton hit a run-scoring single in the fourth inning to give the Tri-City Dust Devils a 2-1 win over the Everett AquaSox on Saturday.
Tucupita Marcano scored on the play after he led off the inning with a single.
The single by Williams-Sutton scored Marcano to give the Dust Devils a 2-1 lead.
Diomar Lopez struck Nick Rodriguez out with a runner on first to end the game for his second save of the season.
In the top of the first, Everett grabbed the lead on a single by Connor Kopach that scored Josh Stowers. Tri-City answered in the third inning when Grant Little hit an RBI single, driving in Xavier Edwards.
Williams-Sutton tripled and singled in the win.
Gabe Mosser (2-1) got the win with three innings of scoreless relief while Ivan Fortunato (4-2) took the loss in the Northwest League game.
Tri-City improved to 6-2 against Everett this season.
