EVERETT — Connor Kopach scored the decisive run on a fielder’s choice in the third inning, as the Everett AquaSox topped the Spokane Indians 2-1 on Wednesday.

Kopach scored after he reached base with a triple followed by a groundout from Bobby Honeyman.

J.T. Salter got Julio Pablo Martinez to fly out with a runner on first to end the game for his first save of the season.

In the bottom of the first, Everett grabbed the lead on a ground out by Kopach that scored Josh Stowers. Spokane answered in the next half-inning when Starling Joseph hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Diosbel Arias.

Nick Rodriguez doubled and singled, also stealing a base in the win.

Everett left-hander Orlando Razo (4-3) picked up the win after allowing one run on four hits over five innings. Opposing starter Ryan Dease (4-4) took the tough loss after giving up two runs and seven hits over five innings.
