Silvertips rally for overtime win over Chiefs

EVERETT — Connor Dewar scored 53 seconds into overtime to give the Everett Silvertips a 5-4 win over the Spokane Chiefs on Friday at Angel of the Winds Arena.
Everett (21-7-1-0) scored three goals in the third period to take a 4-3 lead, but the Chiefs scored with 16 seconds left in regulation to tie the game.
Riley Sutter, Wyatt Wylie, Akash Bains and Martin Fasko-Rudas scored goals, and Bryce Kindopp recorded two assists for the Silvertips.
Dustin Wolf made 23 saves for Everett.
