Ekko is a fun but very busy Husky! He is very smart and needs a family to outsmart him. He likes to escape to find adventures and has great fun when you try to catch him. Ekko needs a committed husky experienced home to keep him safe and provide almost unlimited amounts of exercise. Ekko knows some fun little tricks like shake and is willing to learn more! He will need a feline free home and a meet and greet with any resident dogs. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Hooter is a nice senior gentleman looking for his retirement home. He will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs. We are not sure how he will do with cats. Hooter is looking forward to taking some nice walks and then curling up on a big dog bed by his new family. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
Teddy is sweet senior dog looking for a new home. He will need a meet and greet with any resident dogs and can not be around any felines. Teddy is looking for a home to see him through his retirement years and provide him with all the love and adventures he deserves. Feline free home no exceptions. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)

The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.

All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.

If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.
