Hellman, a freshman, worked 3 2/3 innings of hitless, scoreless relief, striking out two and walking one in Jackson’s 8-2 win over Mount Si in a 4A Wes-King Bi-District tournament play-in game.
Liam Raney, Snohomish boys soccer
Raney, a junior, scored two goals and added an assist as the Panthers blanked Ferndale 5-0 in a 3A District 1 tournament play-in game.
Nani Marinez, Edmonds-Woodway softball
Marinez, a senior, went 4-for-4 with a double, a triple and two RBI as the Warriors shut out Archbishop Murphy 7-0.
