VANCOUVER, B.C. — Marysville Pilchuck alum Trent Tingelstad broke open a tied game with a two-run single in the seventh inning and the Everett AquaSox opened the second half of the season with a 5-3 win over the Vancouver Canadians on the road.

Cash Gladfelter’s two-run double in the sixth inning knotted the game at 3-3. Tingelstad had three hits in the game.

Making his third professional start, Seattle Mariners first-round pick George Kirby tossed three scoreless innings for Everett (19-20, 1-0 second half). He allowed three hits and struck out one. Kirby has not allowed a run in seven total innings pitched this season.
