AquaSox fall to Canadians 5-4 in extra innings

VANCOUVER, B.C. — Ronny Brito hit a walk-off single with two outs in the 10th inning, and the Vancouver Canadians defeated the Everett AquaSox 5-4 on Thursday.
The Canadians tied the game 4-4 with two outs in the bottom of the ninth when Brett Wright hit a solo home run off AquaSox reliever Kipp Rollings.
Damon Casetta-Stubbs started and pitched five innings for Everett. He allowed two runs on two hits, struck out four and walked four.
Cade Marlowe doubled twice and singled, and Patrick Frick and Connor Hoover chipped in two hits each for Everett (20-21, 2-1 second half).
Reliever Parker Caracci pitched two scoreless innings to pick up the win for Vancouver (16-25, 1-2 second half).
Despite the loss, Everett is 9-3 against Vancouver this season.
