BOISE — The Everett AquaSox’s Patrick Frick went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI, and Trent Tingelstad had a pair of base hits in the Northwest League’s 11-7 loss in the Northwest League vs. Pioneer Baseball League All-Star Game on Tuesday at Boise’s Memorial Stadium.
Frick started at third base and also scored a run for the Northwest League.
AquaSox pitcher Damon Casetta-Stubbs struggled in his one inning of work. He allowed five runs on two hits, including a grand slam to the Orem Owlz’s Jeremiah Jackson, and walked two.
Everett’s George Kirby, a first-round pick by the Seattle Mariners in June’s MLB draft, was named to the Northwest League All-Star team, but did not pitch in the game.
In addition to Jackson, Eric Yang, Jon Littell and Sam McWilliams all homered to lead the Pioneer League’s offense.
