WATCH: Silvertips’ Kindopp scores the Teddy Bear Toss goal

Everett Silvertips forward Bryce Kindopp scored the first goal of the game on Saturday just one minute, 52 seconds into the action to send teddy bears flying on the ice during the Silvertips’ annual “Teddy Bear Toss” night at Angel of the Winds Arena.

Teddy Bear Toss nights are a common tradition in junior hockey, believed to be started by the Kamloops Blazers in the 1990s. The bears thrown on the ice are donated to underprivileged families in the area.
