Police issue warning about sex offender in Bothell area

BOTHELL —Police are warning residents about a convicted sex offender who has moved to the unincorporated Bothell area.
Christopher Carl Rudolph, 47, is a Level 3 offender, the level deemed most likely to reoffend. He recently was released from the Special Commitment Center on McNeil Island. He is living in the 17100 block of Sunset Road, southeast of Mill Creek.
Rudolph has convictions from 1987 and 1991 for attacks on three teenage girls. In one case, the victim was attacked as she was walking home from school.
He also was accused of sexual harassment while in prison. He had been civilly committed since 2000.
He is described as about 5-feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
