BOYS BASKETBALL

Lakewood 75, Snohomish 69 (OT)

SNOHOMISH — Snohomish rallied from down 10 points in the fourth quarter to force overtime, but Justice Taylor scored eight of his 16 points in the extra period to lift Lakewood to a hard-fought win.

Shae Dixon scored a game-high 24 points and Taylor and Andrew Molloy had 16 each for the Lakewood (4-0) offense.

Grady Kentch scored 22 points, Wes Ostlund added 14 and Grayson Anderson chipped in 11 for Snohomish (1-3).

The Panthers outscored the Cougars 20-10 in the fourth quarter to force overtime. Kentch and Josh Vandergriend scored six points each in the period.

Lake Stevens 66, Stanwood 59

STANWOOD — Down eight points entering the fourth quarter, Lake Stevens’ offense exploded with 27 points and the Vikings rallied to hand Stanwood its first loss of the season on Friday night.

Brandon Palacol scored eight of his team-high 16 points in the final period as Lake Stevens (2-1) pulled ahead. Maddox Preder added 15 points, and Marshall Adams and Grayson Murren chipped in 12 each for the Vikings.

Cort Roberson scored a game-high 21 points, and Kaeden McGlothin added 18, including five 3-pointers, for Stanwood (3-1).

Jackson 58, Arlington 54

MILL CREEK — Sylas Williams and Drilon Veliu scored 10 points each as Jackson rode a balanced offensive attack to a close win over Arlington.

Evan Bates scored six of his nine points in the fourth quarter and made a key basket with under a minute to play as the Timberwolves outscored the Eagles 14-9 to pull out the win.

Nick Sysum and Cooper Smith made key free throws downs the stretch to help Jackson (2-2) maintain the slim lead. Sysum finished with nine points.

Jaden Roskelley scored a game-high 18 points and Ethan Martin added 17 points for Arlington (1-4).

Mountlake Terrace 57, Marysville Pilchuck 39

MARYSVILLE — Muhammad Kinteh scored 17 points and Jace Breakfield added 14 as Mountlake Terrace rolled to a win over Marysville Pilchuck to stay undefeated on the season.

Jeffrey Anyimah,Robbie Baringer and Adison Mattix chipped in six points each for Mountlake Terrace (4-0).

Anthony Najera led Marysville Pilchuck (1-3) with 14 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.

Archbishop Murphy 76, Shorewood 59

SHORELINE — Zach Ingle led all scorers with 18 points and Archbishop Murphy beat Shorewood for its third consecutive win.

Lukas Doyle scored 17 points, including 12 in the first half, and Bailey Harmon chipped in 10 points for Archbishop Murphy (4-1).

Canon Sanders and Rahme Salim scored 16 points each to lead Shorewood (0-4).

Mariner 75, Edmonds-Woodway 50

EDMONDS — Tijan Saine scored a game-high 25 points as Mariner stayed perfect on the season with a win over Edmonds-Woodway.

Henry Avra scored 15 points, Dakota Joseph added 13, and Naser Motley chipped in 11 for Mariner (5-0).

Dillon Runsdorff scored 10 points, and Jacob Gabler, Ben Hanson and Adonai Daniel had eight each for Edmonds-Woodway.

Marysville Getchell 67, Monroe 53

MONROE — Malakhi Knight poured in a season-high 37 points to lead Marysville Getchell to a win over Monroe.

Knight made 11 2-pointers, two 3-pointers and shot 9-of-11 from the line in the victory.

Josiah Koellmer scored nine points and Landyn Olson chipped in seven for Marysville Getchell (2-2).

Sam Olson led all Monroe (1-3) scorers with 26 points.

Kamiak 73, Meadowdale 42

MUKILTEO — Jaye Ohonme scored 18 points, and Zach Meyer made five 3-pointers as Kamiak rolled past Meadowdale for its third straigh win.

Meyer finished with 15 points, and Nolan Martin and Brendan Beier chipped in eight each for Kamiak (3-1).

Louis Gallagher scored a team-high 12 points, including a trio of 3-pointers, for Meadowdale (0-4).
