SPOKANE — In his first start back after missing a month with right shoulder fatigue, George Kirby tossed three scoreless innings and the Everett AquaSox snapped a four-game losing streak with a 6-5 win over the Spokane Indians on Saturday night at Avista Stadium.

Kirby, the Seattle Mariners’ first-round pick in the 2019 MLB draft, allowed only one hit, struck out two and walked none to lower his season earned-run average to 2.38.

Reid Morgan allowed two runs on seven hits in 4.1 solid innings of relief for the AquaSox.

Spokane mounted a late rally with three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning, but Bernie Martinez wiggled out of the jam to secure the win for Everett (52-30).

Victor Labrada went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs batted in, and Tyler Keenan went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI to lead the AquaSox offense. Connor Hoover and Kennie Taylor added two hits each.

Isaac Collins and Jack Blomgren each drove in two runs for Spokane (41-42).
