LYNNWOOD — Officials have identified a man killed in a forklift accident earlier this week.
Chuck K. Lee, 69, of Bothell, died from blunt-force trauma, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office. His death was ruled an accident.
Police say Lee was walking through a parking lot off 198th Street SW on Monday when he was struck by a box falling from a forklift. The forklift operator told investigators he saw something in front of the machine and braked suddenly.
Lee was rushed to a Seattle hospital, where he later died.
Lynnwood police continue to investigate, along with the state Department of Labor and Industries.
