Everett’s July 4 parade was great but needed music

Everett’s Fourth of July parade was wonderful. The different groups were wonderfully varied and entertaining. The only thing I found disturbing was the absence of music, particularly band music.

With three high schools in Everett this was a surprise to me. Not only do they have marching bands but also jazz or some kind of combos. Hopefully. Next year’s parade will have all the needed participants.

Thanks to the volunteers who did a fabulous job putting the event together. Looking forward to the next parade.
