Prep football: Mountlake Terrace 14, Mariner 13

EVERETT — A Ryan Lacasse interception in the second quarter halted Mariner’s momentum and set the stage for two Malcolm Johnson scoring runs that lifted Mountlake Terrace to a 14-13 non-conference win.

Lacasse rushed 11 times for 127 yards on offense, and Johnson added 64 yards on 14 carries for Mountlake Terrace.

Dyonte Law had two first-half touchdowns for Mariner and finished with 110 yards on 19 carries. Greg Whitaker also topped 100 yards on the ground for the Marauders.
