Don’t close stores to stop shoplifters; enforce laws

Stores such as Target should use Costco’s approach to stop theft. Everyone leaving the store should be required to show a receipt. This won’t stop all theft but should help.

Closing stores is not the answer. Stricter laws, that are enforced, are instrumental for a safer society. We need to elect politicians who work together to accomplish this goal. For the most part, the politicians we now have in Congress are accomplishing nothing. Sad state of affairs which doesn’t look any brighter in the future.
