Holding cell murals in Mukilteo are great idea

Thumbs up to Mukilteo’s new police chief, Andy Illyin. It was a great idea to improve the holding cells with fun, colorful art (“No more staring at blank canvas in Mukilteo police holding cells,” The Herald, Feb. 27)

I love when people are able to think “outside of the box.” Just the mere fact that someone cared enough to make a bad situation a little better is inspirational itself. Thank you to everyone involved.
