EVERETT — A man died Tuesday morning in a car crash on Casino Road in Everett, police said.

Around 3:30 a.m., a silver sedan and a Kia crashed near Walter E. Hall Park, said Everett officer Natalie Given. The sedan driver, a man in his 20s, was dead when police arrived.

A man in the Kia was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, Given said. A woman in the car suffered minor injuries.

Casino Road was closed for about five hours while police investigated Tuesday morning. Detectives were investigating impairment as a cause of the crash, Given said, but it was unclear who was at fault.

At one point during the investigation, a drunk driver drove onto the crash scene, Given said. Police arrested that driver.
