EVERETT — ORCA is making its $6 Regional Day Pass fare permanent starting March 1.

The reduced rate started as a promotion in August 2024. The original rate was $8.

For ORCA LIFT and Regional Reduced Fare Permit cardholders, a day pass will remain at $2, down from the original $4 rate.

The $6 rate is equivalent to two $3 rides, but riders can use it for unlimited rides all day on most transit services, including buses and light rail.

“The ORCA Day Pass also makes it easier than ever to seamlessly connect across transit modes — like buses, light rail and on-demand services — and between transit agencies,” said Christina O’Claire, ORCA joint board chairperson, in a press release.
