MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Madison Mitchell’s bunt forced an error by the Hawks, and Hailey Bernards came home for the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth. Olivia Feistel went the distance for Meadowdale, striking out 14 and spreading out 11 hits while throwing 150 pitches as the Mavericks won their league opener and improved to 2-3 overall. Amaya Johnson and Bri Reyes each hit home runs for Terrace (3-2, 1-1).
Archbishop Murphy 18, Lynnwood 0 (5)
LYNNWOOD — After a scoreless first inning, the Wildcats (3-1 overall, 1-0 league) exploded for all 18 runs in innings 2-4. Markella Vick hit a grand slam home run to go along with a double. Carly Madhavan homered twice, and Maddie Evans hit a pair of doubles. The Royals fell to 0-1, 1-5.

EVERETT — Kiana Holden (home run), Matea Lopez and Madison Jacquot each went 2-for-4 as Jackson (3-2 overall) won its league opener and third straight overall. Morgan Miller registered two hits each for the Eagles (0-5, 0-2).

LAKEWOOD — Katie Krueger went 3-for-4 with two runs and two stolen bases, but the Cougars (2-4, 2-2) committed some costly errors on a blustery evening against the undefeated Pioneers (4-0, 3-0). Riley Pevny (2-for-3, double, two runs, stolen base) also contributed to the Lakewood offense.

EVERETT — Tied 2-2 after seven innings, the Warriors (5-1 overall) plated two runs on an error, followed by two more on bases-loaded walks. E-W pitchers Helena Marsh (five innings, six K’s) and Ella Campbell (four innings, 4 K’s) did not allow and earned run as Everett (2-3) managed just three hits.

LAKE STEVENS — Emerson Cummins and McKenna Richer each went 2-for-4 with a double as the Vikings improved to 4-3 overall. Pitcher Charli Pugmire went the distance, striking out 11. Reagan Ryan had a 2-RBI double and scored a run for the Spartans (5-1).

LAKE STEVENS — The Vikings (4-4) outhit Roosevelt 5-3, but two walks and two Lake Stevens errors contributed to a four-run first inning for the Roughriders. Alyssa Anderson recorded a hit and a stolen base for Lake.

STANWOOD — Stanwood pitcher Addi Anderson allowed just one earned run while striking out five while going the full seven innings. Rubi Lopez went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two stolen bases for the Spartans (4-1 overall).
Stanwood 11, Burlington-Edison 1
STANWOOD — The Spartans (5-1) ran all over Burlington-Edison, stealing 12 bases, led by five from Rubi Lopez (3-for-4, triple, two RBI. Jemma Lopez, Reagan Ryan and Amerann Fox each recorded two hits and a pair of stolen bases.
