Best clam chowder in Snohomish County

Every year The Daily Herald takes nominations and lets readers vote for the Best of Snohomish County Awards. There are dozens of categories, but here are the 2022 top choices for best clam chowder:

First Place: Ivar’s

Ivar’s opened its first location in 1938. Chowder is a foundation in the reputation of Ivar’s restaurants. They offer white or red chowder. Go big with their Tanker bowl, or skip the clams and order their Alaska smoked salmon chowder.

Second Place: Anthony’s Homeport Everett

Third Place: Scuttlebutt Brewing – Restaurant and Pub
