Seattle-area restaurants open for Thanksgiving

Want to skip the kitchen? Check out these spots, including restaurants in Everett and Mill Creek.

Thanksgiving: a season of gratitude, community and hours of meal planning and kitchen time. To scratch that last part, order a meal kit or dine out this year.

In addition to kits from local specialty grocery stores, dozens of restaurants around the Seattle area offer to-go meals and/or festive sit-down feasts.

Here’s a sampling of places where you can order takeout or dine-in for Thanksgiving dinner this year. Please check the web addresses included before making plans, as some restaurants may run out of reservation spots or share other updates.

Everett

Shawn O’Donnell’s American Grill and Irish Pub

Dine-in: Dinner includes herb roasted turkey, Irish colcannon mashed potatoes, market vegetables and more. You can also add on a holiday drink special, from spiced maple Old Fashioneds to Irish coffee. It’s $27.99 per adult, $14.99 per kid. Seatings available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hearth

Dine-in: This Thanksgiving meal at Hearth, The Heathman Hotel’s restaurant, includes an option of roasted turkey, braised short ribs or mushroom lentil “meatloaf” as a main, plus all sorts of sides and pumpkin pie for dessert. It’s $70 per adult, $35 per child age 12 and under. Check available seating times and make reservations online.

Takeout: You can also order from the Hearth’s Thanksgiving menu to-go. It’s $70 per person. Order and select a pickup time online; pick up Nov. 27 or 28.

Dine-in at Lakesgiving: In the Lake Washington Ballroom, eat from a buffet featuring soup, salad, charcuterie, Thanksgiving classics, a carving station, a seafood bar and desserts. It’s $100 per person, $50 for children 5-12, free for kids under 5; 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving with the last seating at 6:45 p.m. Reserve online.

Dine-in: Groups of up to nine people can dine in the main restaurant on Thanksgiving, enjoying a three-course meal for $115 per guest. For groups of 10 people or more, the lodge will provide tableside turkey carving in the Ballroom and Cliffside dining spaces, along with a three-course meal, for $135 per guest. In both cases, children 10 and under are $30, and a wine pairing can be added for $20.
