Carl Gipson Senior Center: 3025 Lombard Ave., Everett. Dance to live music from 1 to 3 p.m. the second and fourth Saturdays of the month; $5.

Dudes and Dolls Square Dance Club: 8 to 10:30 p.m. mainstream (rounds 7 to 8 p.m.) the second, fourth and fifth Fridays at Cedar Valley Grange, 20526 52nd Ave. W., Lynnwood. Cost is $7. Square dancing keeps the body and brain healthy with socializing on and off the dance floor. More at www.dudesanddolls.org.

Edmonds Senior Center: Fling Dance with live bands, 1 to 3 p.m. Fridays at Edmonds Senior Center, 220 Railroad Ave. Cost is $4 and includes coffee and snacks. No partner necessary. Easy beginning line dance class Mondays at 3:30 p.m. for $4 a person and dance sampler class Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. for $5 a person. Class includes foxtrot, swing and waltz instruction. Freewheelers Square Dance Club: Mountlake Terrace Community Senior Center, 23000 Lakeview Drive; www.squaredanceseattle.com. Dances are 7 to 10 p.m. on first, third and some fifth Sundays. Dances are mainstream on the first Sundays and plus on the third Sundays. Cost is $8. New dance classes for beginners are Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m. A partner is not required. The Happy Hoppers: Dance at the Stillaguamish Senior Center, 18308 Smokey Point Blvd., Arlington. Dances are held the first and third Saturdays of the month September through June. Square dance lessons for beginners are 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays, Totem Middle School Cafeteria, 1605 Seventh St., Marysville. Hayloft Dance Hall & Event Center: 15320 35th Ave. W., Lynnwood. Pre-ballroom dance classes for ages 4 to 6, 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Ballroom for everyone is 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. The Friday country dances are at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $15 for lesson and dance, or $12 for the dance. Normanna Hall: Ballroom dance 1 to 3:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays; dance to Bob’s Swing Band; $6; Normanna Hall, 2725 Oakes Ave., Everett; 425 252-0291. Country and Western dance Tuesdays 7:30 p.m. instruction and 8:30 to 11 p.m. dance. $5 charge.

Northshore Senior Center: 10201 E. Riverside Drive, Bothell; 425-487-2441. Ballroom dance, 1 to 3 p.m. first and third Wednesdays, with music by Bob’s Swing Band. Cost is $5.

Skandia Folkdance Society: First and third Fridays dance, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. lesson, 8:30 to 11 p.m. dance, Cedar Valley Grange, 20526 52nd Ave. W., Lynnwood; www.skandia-folkdance.org; 425-954-5262. Cost is $15 nonmembers, $10 members, kids get in free.

Sky Valley Whirlwind Square Dance Club: Round dance workshops with Karen Nevedowski at 7:30 p.m., plus mainstream dances, 8 to 10:30 p.m. third Fridays through May, $7.
