Kitten Bowl II might be the purr-fect way to start your day. Ninety feisty kitties take to the field — when they’re not taking litter-box time outs. Let’s hope the cat fights are kept to a minimum. Noon Sunday, Hallmark Channel.
More of a dog person? Check out Puppy Bowl XI. This year, Team Ruff tangles with Team Fluff in what should be a paw-some contest that makes us howl in delight. 3 p.m. Sunday, Animal Planet.
Airing in the coveted post-Super Bowl time slot, “The Blacklist” looks to pull in football fans with Part 1 of a turbocharged two-parter. It finds Liz (Megan Boone) in a race against time when Red (James Spader) is arrested and taken to a top-secret detention facility. 10:15 p.m. Sunday, NBC.
