Food Truck Fridays: The Washington State Food Truck Association teams up with the Port of Everett to bring food trucks to the Port of Everett Marina from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Fridays through September. A variety of food trucks park in the South Marina parking lot between Port Gardner Landing and Marina Village at 1205 Craftsman Way, Suite 200, Everett. Taste Edmonds: The festival, formerly A Taste of Edmonds, is 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Aug. 16-17 and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 18, Civic Playfield, 310 Sixth Ave. N., Edmonds. Featuring food, live music, beer and wine garden, kids activities, bouncy houses and a cornhole tournament. Cost is $5. Children 12 and younger get in free. Fundraiser breakfast: Monroe Community Senior Center’s next fundraising breakfast is 8 a.m. Aug. 17 at the center, 276 Sky River Parkway, Monroe. There will be pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage and ham. Cost is $6. Kids 10 and younger eat free. All proceeds benefit the senior center. The breakfast is held on third Saturdays. Dinner in the Barn: Kristoferson Farm is hosting its monthly dinner at 6 p.m. Aug. 24 at its century-old barn, 332 NE Camano Drive, Camano Island. The menu will feature Knudsen Vineyards’ wine and food grown on Camano Island farms. Reservations are required. New wineries, vineyards and cellars are featured each month. Upcoming dinners are Sept. 21 (Damsel Cellars) and Oct. 19 (Sol Stone Winery). More at www.facebook.com/KristofersonFarm.

Sadie’s Night: Eight local chefs are helping to make Sadie’s Night special at 7 p.m. Aug. 27. The benefit for 4-year-old Sadie Sheldon, of Marysville who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor, will be held at Palace Ballroom, 2100 Fifth Ave., Seattle. Features small bites, a silent auction, live music and a cash bar. Proceeds will go to Sadie’s treatment at Children’s Hospital. Tickets are $50 each and include your first drink.
