EVERETT —Two men were shot, one fatally, during an apparent robbery early Tuesday in a north Everett home.
Just after midnight, gunshots were reported at an apartment in the 1600 block of 22nd Street, Everett police said. One man was dead and another was taken to an area hospital with wounds that weren’t believed to be life threatening.
A police dog searched the area for a man who had left the shooting scene. He’s believed to have driven away from the area.
Detectives were able to piece together some information, and there are indications that the victims may have known the suspect.
Anyone with information was asked to call the Everett Police Department tipline at 425-257-8450 or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS.
