BREMETON — Police said a bonsai tree 57 years old and valued at $20,000 has been stolen from a Bremerton nursery.
The Kitsap Sun reported on Saturday that the tree was donated to the Elandan Gardens in 1991 and is part of a large outdoor bonsai museum.
The tree, called a Hinoki Cypress Dwarf, was reported stolen earlier this week.
No other bonsai trees were stolen. Police are investigating.
