Here’s how some of your tax dollars were spent in recent city council actions:

Arlington: $3,750 to the Stillaguamish Senior Center in Arlington to help fund the center’s senior wellness program.

$2,170 to Day Wireless Systems of Milwaukie, Ore., to install and relocate remotes for an emergency communication system.

$1,230 to Arlington information service manager Bryan Terry to partially reimburse him for classes he’s taking in pursuit of a degree in information services.

Edmonds: $110,000 to Reid Middleton, Inc., of Everett for the Frances Anderson Center Seismic Structural Retrofit Project.

$1,237 to Washington Tree Experts of Edmonds for the removal of a maple tree.

Everett: $85,091 to the city of Seattle for a new GMC T-8500 flusher truck.

$290,198 to Cobra Construction for 15,000 tons of gravel for public works. Rinker Materials West, LLC, Riverside Sand and Gravel and Aggregates West Inc. also were named in the contract.

$20,391 to Marshland Flood Control District to extend an agreement for three years to pump and handle runoff water flowing from southeast Everett to the Marshland District Area.

Monroe: $136 to Cadman, Inc., of Snohomish for sidewalk rock.

$2,211 to Monroe Monitor of Monroe for advertising.

$375 to Hageman Service, Inc., of Marysville for window cleaning.

Mukilteo: $666 to Brim Tractor Company, Inc., of Everett for vehicle supplies for the Public Works Department.

$2,993 to Office Depot of Delray Beach, Fla., for office supplies.

Snohomish: $33 to City Councilman Doug Thorndike for a Snohomish County Cities dinner.

$282 to Alpine Products, Inc., of Auburn for stop-slow traffic paddles and marking paint.

$423 to Elite Lock and Safe of Monroe for 36 locks.
