Paine Field Aviation Day: Visit the Snohomish County Airport from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday to see historic aircraft collections and more.
Admission is $10 for adults and is free for children under 17. A ticket provides access to the Flying Heritage Collection and the Historic Flight Foundation. Visitors can get a close-up look at aircraft parked on the grounds. Children ages 8 to 17 can fly with local aviators.
Spectators can watch demonstration flights by vintage airplanes between noon and 1:30 p.m.
There’s an Aviation Day 5k run and a firefighters pancake charity breakfast.
Document shredding: Cypress Adventist School offers a shredding event from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at 21500 Cypress Way, Suite A, Lynnwood. Suggested donation is $5 to $10 per box. For more information, call 425-775-3578.
Screen time: The Snohomish Kiwanis and Snohomish School District are sponsoring a free showing of the documentary, “Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age,” at 6 p.m. Monday at the Snohomish High School Performing Arts Center, 1316 Fifth St.
The indie film “goes far beyond exposing the risks of screen time, but reveals multiple approaches on how parents and educators can work with kids to help them achieve a healthy amount of screen time.”
Parents, grandparents and students are encouraged to attend together.
