Lynnwood bans marijuana businesses

The Lynnwood City Council on Monday approved a ban on marijuana businesses.
City leaders earlier had extended a moratorium several times. They recently learned they would not see any shared tax revenue from the state if a ban was lifted, city spokeswoman Julie Moore said Wednesday.
There are no legal marijuana businesses within Lynnwood city limits.
