MARYSVILLE — A rollover collision Friday afternoon left one man seriously injured and a dog dead, authorities said.

A 6-month-old infant in the other vehicle was OK, Marysville Fire District spokesperson Christie Veley said.

Around 12:50 p.m., an SUV and a second car collided in the 7400 block of Ingraham Boulevard, flipping the SUV and trapping a man inside. Firefighters extracted him and took him to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with life-threatening injuries, Veley said. A dog in the SUV died.

The other car went off the road. The three occupants — including one infant — were not seriously hurt and did not get transported to the hospital, Veley said.

The road was closed for an investigation by Marysville police. Traffic in the area was re-routed, police said.

Marysville police planned to release more information Friday afternoon.
