MARYSVILLE — Two men suspected in the Nov. 8 shooting death of Jason Castle were arrested Monday night and Tuesday morning, the Marysville Police Department said.
Lyon “Nick” Torns, 36, turned himself in Monday evening to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department in Nevada, police said.
Around 4 a.m. Tuesday, Marysville officers arrested a 30-year-old suspect in Mountlake Terrace. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree murder and first-degree robbery related to Castle’s death.
Around 3 a.m. Nov. 8, police responded to reports of gunshots near a gas station along 88th Street Northeast. But they didn’t find anything and departed.
A woman called about an hour later. She had found her husband’s vehicle at the gas station and allegedly saw Torns emerge from the brush, get into her husband’s vehicle and drive away.
It was not clear how she knew Torns.
Later, police found her husband’s body in the bushes behind the gas station. Castle, 42, had multiple gunshot wounds.
Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies and officers from Edmonds, Everett, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace police departments assisted in the arrest in Mountlake Terrace.
