EVERETT — The Snohomish County Council approved a two-year contract extension Monday covering most county employees.
The agreement grants a raise of 3 percent in 2019 and 2.5 percent in 2020.
The deal with AFSCME-affiliated Council 2 passed 3-0. The council authorized the same pay increase for employees not represented by a union.
More than half of the county’s approximately 2,900 employees are represented by AFSCME.
