Officials identify Monroe man who drowned near Eagle Falls

INDEX — Officials on Tuesday identified a man who drowned near Eagle Falls on May 28.

Junior Silva, was 24, of Monroe, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. His death was ruled an accident.

Silva jumped into the water and didn’t resurface in a stretch of the South Fork Skykomish River, according to police. His body was found Saturday.
