Woodinville man struck and killed in hit-and-run Monday on Highway 92

EVERETT — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in a hit-and-run collision Monday on Highway 92 near milepost 6.

Shortly before 4:30 a.m. Monday, the Washington State Patrol responded to a report of a hit-and-run collision on Highway 92 between Crooked Mile Road and 84th Street.

The Washington State Patrol said Cody J. Yates, 34, Woodinville, was walking east on the right shoulder of the highway when a vehicle struck him and continued traveling east.

Yates was declared deceased at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
