EDMONDS — Someone died after being hit by a train Saturday evening.
Edmonds Police reported the pedestrian fatality via Twitter at 9:52 p.m. The collision occurred at an intersection of Main Street at the waterfront, near the Edmonds ferry terminal.
The ferry terminal was closed and the Edmonds-Kingston ferry route was out of service until Sunday morning.
The Edmonds Police Department said it would not provide further updates about the investigation.
