EVERETT — A driver hit and killed a pedestrian early Saturday morning on Glenwood Avenue.
Around 12:05 a.m., first responders were called to reports of a crash in the 4800 block of Glenwood Avenue, Everett police officer Natalie Givens said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He, too, was in his 30s.
The driver was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with serious injuries, Givens said.
A utility pole was knocked down by the crash, causing a power outage for hundreds of people.
Glenwood Avenue was closed for a few hours overnight.
