EVERETT — A robber escaped after a heist at a Columbia Bank on Wednesday in south Everett, according to police.
The man handed a note to a teller around 4:35 p.m. at the bank in the 11100 block of Evergreen Way, said Everett police Sgt. Maryjane Hacker. He left with cash and the note. He did not imply or show a weapon.
Police dogs searched the neighborhood but could not find him. Officers also were working to recover security video, Hacker said.
The man was described as white, perhaps in his late 30s, with blue eyes, brown hair and a goatee. He wore all dark clothing and a blue baseball cap with red lettering.
Tips can be directed to Everett police at 425-257-8450.
