LYNNWOOD — Police arrested a teenager Wednesday in the fatal stabbing of his roommate late last month in a condominium complex near Lynnwood.
Just before midnight Feb. 26, Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a stabbing at the Brio Condominiums in the 15400 block of 35th Avenue West, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies found a wounded man, 32, inside a unit within the complex, according to the sheriff’s office. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was inside the apartment when deputies arrived, police said.
On Wednesday, deputies arrested a 17-year-old boy for investigation of second-degree murder in connection with the stabbing.
The suspect and the deceased reportedly lived together for several months before the killing. Authorities had not publicly identified the deceased as of Thursday.
The teen was booked into the Denney Juvenile Justice Center. It remained an active investigation.
