GOLD BAR — Two men in their 50s drowned Saturday in the Skykomish River, authorities say.
Around 2 p.m., the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office sent Search and Rescue units to the Cable Drop Trail near Sunset Falls, the office said in a tweet.
The two men were pulled from the river and CPR was attempted, but they were later pronounced deceased.
The men were from the Seattle and Kirkland areas.
