Woman dies after being struck by mail truck in Everett

She was crossing the street when she was hit Tuesday evening in downtown Everett.

EVERETT — A woman died after being struck by a mail truck Tuesday evening, according to Everett police.

She was crossing the street at the intersection of Colby and Pacific avenues when she was hit at 5:45 p.m.

Colby Avenue was completely shut down while detectives investigated the scene, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
